WHEN SHOULD I CONTACT YOU TO BOOK MY SESSION?
Early. I focus on giving each senior a fabulous experience, therefore I limit the number of sessions available each month.
CAN I BRING PETS, FRIENDS, OR FAMILY TO MY SESSION?
Of course! If you decide to bring a pet, please make sure someone is available to take care of your loved one during the remainder of the photo session. Moms, siblings, best friends, etc. can help you relax and have fun so I encourage it! Please no camera's though. If you want someone else to be photographed with you, please let me know in advance. A separate session will need to be scheduled for family portraits.
DO YOU OFFER STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY?
No, studio photography for seniors is not my style. I love beautiful natural light and typically photograph two hours after sunrise or before sunset to work with the best light available.
WHAT DOES "ON LOCATION" MEAN?
On location means together we will choose the best places to photograph based on your preferences and wardrobe selection. If you have a place in mind, please let me know during your pre-consultation. I have a variety of places that I know will look amazing, but I'm always up for something new! We can go to a park, downtown, the lake, your backyard, someplace country, urban, grungy, more refined, the places are endless!
WHAT CLOTHES SHOULD I BRING?
Bring a mix of outfits that show off your personality. Many seniors text or email me their outfits ahead of time, which is fabulous. I like to coordinate your outfits with the different locations we choose.
WHAT IF IT RAINS ON THE DAY OF MY SESSION?
In the event of bad weather, we will be in contact throughout the day. If needed we will reschedule!
WHEN DO I SEE MY PICTURES AFTER MY SESSION?
During your pre-consultation we will schedule your viewing + ordering session which is held in my home. This is usually two weeks after your portrait session and all decision makers should be present as your final order will need to be placed at this time. If you have a seasonal session, the viewing + ordering session will be after your second session.
WHAT IF MY DAD OR GRANDMA CAN'T MAKE IT TO THE ORDERING SESSION?
My recommendation is to make selections on their behalf. This simplifies the process greatly, and chances are your family is just as busy as you are, so you are saving them time! If you'd prefer them to place their own order, I'm happy to organize a complimentry online gallery of your selected images. This will be available after your ordering session and available for 7 days in which they may directly place their order. If more time is needed, there may be a $25 rehosting fee.
WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU HAVE AVAILABLE?
Everything from traditional prints to the latest in metal wall art, gallery wraps, float wraps, beautiful albums, folios, and custom graduation invitations. WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE READY TO PICK UP?
Most products are typically ready to pick up in 2-3 weeks. Custom designed albums take additional time in design and production. You can expect albums to be ready in 4 weeks after design is finalized. If you need your products sooner, please let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate!
DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM PRINT ORDER REQUIREMENT?
No, I do not have a print order minimum at this time. Families typically invest anywhere between $400 - $1500, depending on the products that best suite your individual needs. Half of your payment is due during your viewing + ordering session and the other half is due when you pick up your products. Cash, check, masterCard, and visa are accepted.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Absolutely! A credit card number on file is required to process your payments over a set period of time. Your order will be ready to pick up when your final payment is made.
WHAT DO I DO NEXT?
If you know the date you'd like, please contact me as early as possible to schedule. You will need to sign an electronic contract and pay your session fee to reserve your date and time.
