Yes! I will send you my "What to Wear Guide" after you confirm your session. I'm also happy to help send outfit suggestions once I know what colors you'd like to wear.
Bring any special item for you or your children. Make sure to have a brush/comb, extra hair ties and maybe some lipstick for a touch up. Simple snacks and water are great for small breaks but please avoid anything messy. Also, I recommend keeping phones or toys out of sight that may cause problems if taken away.

Together, we can agree on the perfect spot for your family session. I have some favorite locations that I like to recommend if you aren't sure. I welcome new ideas and I'm happy to travel, however locations further than 25 miles from zip code 62535 will be charged a travel fee. I also offer a studio option, located in my home in Forsyth, IL.
For outdoor sessions, I typically photograph 1-3 hours before sunset. I'm happy to adjust if that does not work for you.
We'll reschedule for a mutually agreeable time as soon as possible. If you want to photograph in the rain, it can make for a really great season. :).
My calendar starts booking up in the spring of the current year. My seniors typically book through November so I recommend reaching out as soon as possible to secure your date if you know what time of year you'd like to have your pictures taken.
Within 2-3 weeks of your session, you will receive a link to your private online viewing gallery. My turnaround times are longer in the fall due to it being my busy season. You will have one month to download your images from the gallery, after which, the gallery will be archived and no longer accessible. If you did not download your images in time, your gallery can be reactivated for a fee. Complimentary in-person ordering sessions are available if you are interested in custom wall art, prints and products.
Yes! I schedule mini session events a couple of months in advance. There are a limited number of sessions available on specific dates. If you are interested in my next mini session, make sure to join my VIP email list! Here you will be the first to be notified and will be able to book before the general public.
