If you have an online presence on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc. you have a personal brand, and making the right first impression with your ideal client is so important. A Personal Branding Session is also a great way to make your business stand out. So you may be wondering what the difference is between a Personal Branding Session and a Headshot Session. So let me tell you!

Headshot Session

Personal Branding Sessions are headshots plus much more….

  • Share your story of what you do and why you do it
  • Show your personality
  • Include detail shots, lifestyle shots, you in action, behind the scenes, you with your product, etc.

It’s important to note that your personal branding pictures are not about what you look like or what kind of house you live in; but rather your values and what your brand stands for. It is how you connect with your clients.

How Does It Work?

  1. Book your session – If you have a deadline or not, it’s always best to book in advance. Please keep in mind the time it takes for editing and image selection.
  2. Brainstorming – Once the date is set, we will start the planning process. I will send you a questionnaire to help determine your brand description. It’s important to analyze beforehand how the pictures can best serve you. Many times you can use the same pictures in different ways – social media, your blog, a banner, marketing material, website, etc. and it’ll be helpful to know what orientation you’ll need and what type of background would be best. I’ll also ask you to send me pictures or ideas of what you like so I can get to know your style.
  3. Prepare – we’ll discuss clothing, locations, props and tips on how to be prepared for your session.
  4. Day of Session – we’ll laugh and have fun taking a mix of lifestyle and naturally posed pictures that best represent you and your business.
  5. Editing – after your session I will spend time sorting the best of the best images out and ensuring the coloring and tone of each image is amazing. I will send your online gallery via email for you to view.
  6. Image Selection – You will select your favorite pictures from the comfort of your own home/office and notify me when your final selection has been made. I’ll be able to make any final touches on the images selected and send them to you to download. My packages come with a certain number of pictures included and you’ll also have the option to upgrade by purchasing more images either a la carte or the complete gallery.
